Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about prices, payment and how we work.

How much does a website cost?

A one-page website is £149 and a website of up to five pages is £299. These are introductory prices, and your written quote is the price you pay.

Are there any monthly costs?

Only if you choose them. Our maintenance plan is £25 a month and you can cancel with 30 days’ notice. Your domain name and hosting are separate costs that we explain in your quote.

What happens if I need extra work?

Work outside your agreed quote is priced separately. We tell you what we expect it to cost and agree it with you in writing before we start.

How do I pay?

You pay a 25% deposit before work starts and the balance before your site goes live. The exact amounts and dates are in your quote.

How long does it take?

It depends mostly on how quickly you send your information and approve the design. We give you an estimate in your quote.

Who owns my website?

Once you have paid in full, you own the finished design and content we created for you. See our terms.

Can you promise my site will be on page one of Google?

No, and be careful of anyone who does. We build a sound technical base and clear content, but we cannot control search rankings.

Do I need to know anything technical?

No. We explain things in plain English and handle the technical work. Our Start your website form tells you what to send.

Will it work on phones?

Yes. We design for phones first, then check tablets and computers.

Can you update my existing website?

Yes. See our Website Redesign service, or ask us for a quote for specific changes.

Can I cancel my order?

Cancellation terms are set out in your written quote and in our terms.

Do you work with consumers?

No. Our services are for businesses. See our terms.
